Kazembe Abif, a 6-foot-7, 210-pound power forward who competed at University High School in Newark, New Jersey last year, is gearing up to have a terrific senior season.
Abif, who previously verbally committed to Drexel, will sign a letter of intent in November, according to Team NJABC head coach Matt Pauls.

"He has a tremendous motor," Pauls said. "He plays hard every possession."
A senior prospect, he competed for Pauls' highly regarded Team NJABC AAU program in some of the best tournaments and events over the past few months.
"He attacks the rim," stated Pauls. "He's very physical on the boards making him a tremendous rebounder."
Abif will play for The Lawrenceville School this season.
PREVIOUS RECRUITING INTEREST:
Army, NJIT, Boston University, Lafayette, St. Peter's, Fairfield, and Quinnipiac.
Abif will try to make improvements in a few areas this season. "He needs to work on his handle," concluded Pauls. "And also attacking offensively with his right hand."
