A very productive player from the offensive side of the ball, Eric is working on becoming stronger and preparing to be an impact player for Wagner College, a division one college basketball located on Staten Island in New York City.

SCOUT Alex Kline GIVES US HIS THOUGHTS ON ERIC FANNING'S INDIVIDUAL BASKETBALL GAME:

"Eric does a good job of being versatile at 6-foot-5. He can play the 1, 2 and 3 because of his handle. Fanning is a good shooter, who can become great with some more work. He also attacks the rim, but needs to be much more consistent and confident with his game."

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

Eric had a terrific 2010-2011 boy's basketball campaign, scoring over 24 points per contest for his team. He also averaged nearly 11 rebounds per game.

His biggest game last year was eye opening. He ripped off 53 points to help his team defeat Mercy Academy.

According to his AAU coach Matt Pauls of Team NJABC, Fanning also pulled down 16 rebounds in his best game of his career.

PREVIOUS RECRUITING INTEREST:

Cornell, James Madison, Boston University, Georgia Southern, Quinnipiac, Stony Brook, Army, Citadel, St. Francis (PA), Colgate, and Drexel.

WHAT TEAM NAJABC HEAD COACH MATT PAULS PREVIOUSLY SAID ABOUT ERIC FANNING AND HIS INDIVIDUAL GAME:
