The Rumble in the Bronx, set for June 11-13th at Fordham University in the Bronx, New York, continues to increase the talent level year to year. "I think we are in our seventh year," said the director of the event, Jim Hart. His Albany City Rocks are the host team of the tournament.
The City Rocks are led by Tiki Mayben, a point guard who will play in two seasons for the Syracuse Orangemen. But there is much more to this event than one Big East player.
Among the players expected to participate: Paul Harris (outstanding 2006 recruit), Kyle McAlarney (Notre Dame verbal), Lance Thomas (2005 high major player), Tyrell Biggs (high major target), Chad Millard, Antonio Anderson, Kendric Price, Theo Davis, Craig Austrie, Ricky Torres, and Kevin Durant.
There are many more high quality players expected to compete in this event. Admission is $5 for a day pass and $10 for the entire weekend. Look to this site Monday for the schedule of games.
