A couple players drawing attention are Scout.com's number one player and projected 2006 NBA lottery pick Davon Jefferson of The Patterson School in North Carolina; the numbers 2 and 3 preps from Hargrave Military Academy (center Jonathan Mandeldove and swingman Tyler Smith); Raritan, New Jersey forward, no. 5 Qa'rraan Calhoun now at St. Thomas More in Conn. (his signing with St. John's was just announced Friday); New York powerhouse, #8 Theo Davis who's prepping at Lutheran Christian in Philadelphia as well as another Philly player, #1 ranked sophomore in the nation, Tyreke Evans of the American Christian School in Aston, PA.
Other players that fans, coaches and scouts will be coming to see include Georgetown bound Vernon Macklin (Hargrave - VA), USC bound Taj Gibson (Stoneridge - CA), Villanova bound and Brooklyn native Antonio Pena (St. Thomas Moore - CT) and Senegal native Hamady N'diaye (Stoneridge - CA).
