Corey Fisher: "I Am Open" Premium Story

Corey Fisher says he is wide open in his recruiting process ...

UNION, N.J. -- As one of the better underclassmen in the country, Corey Fisher is used to the drill. And for a while, he complied with reporters' wishes to spout off a top list of college considerations.

But after this week's 22-point effort in a thrilling come from behind victory over rival St. Benedict Prep, the dynamic 6-0 point guard from St. Patrick H.S. in Elizabeth, N.J., had little to say.

In fact, he had nothing specific to say, declining to name a top list of choices. During the hectic July evaluation period, Fisher rattled off a list that included St. John's, Memphis, Virginia, DePaul, UConn and Kentucky .

"I am open, I am open," he said. "I am totally open."

Fisher said he won't seriously begin to tackle the recruiting process until after his junior campaign, which will likely end in mid to late March.

"After the season, I am going to sit down with my family and come up with a list of universities," he concluded.
