For the past few AAU seasons, Talor Battle has been a big part of Jim Hart's Albany City Rocks basketball program. Battle, a 6-foot, 165-pound guard who plays at Bishop Maginn in Albany, N.Y., is a terrific scorer who should be a solid player for Penn State.
"Talor does a great job in producing points," Hart said. "He's always been great for us at our AAU events. So it's not surprising he continues to score as a senior."
Penn State basketball fans have a lot to be excited about when Talor comes aboard. "Penn State is having a great year too," Hart gushed. "Talor should be great for them."
In one recent game against Troy High School of Troy, N.Y., Battle had a huge game. "He scored 47 points," Hart said. "He can score from anywhere on the court."
"He's really played well at the recent AAU events," Hart said. "He's a scorer. He's a scoring point guard."
Last season, Battle scored 35 points or more in his last six games of the season. "He's going to a great program," said Hart. "It's a great fit."
