New Yorker Glover Comes Up Big At MSG

Reporter Brian Towey has the story of New Yorker Michael Glover and his big game yesterday ...

Michael Glover scored 23 points (8-for-15 shooting, 7-for-9 free throws) and collected nine rebounds in American Christian's 110-91 win over South Kent at the Nike Super Six at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

The baselines are where the supremely tough, braided junkman operates. He's an opportunistic offensive player who gives a great second effort.

Glover had some big games in the Fall IS8 League in South Jamaica, New York. He is a hard-working player who elevated his recruiting status by not being afraid to mix it up with bigger bodies inside the paint.

The native of the Bronx will play his college ball at Seton Hall in the Big East Conference. Glover should be able to help the Pirates out with his hard-hat mentality.
