MIKE SULLIVAN'S REVIEW OF JOHN RIEK SUAS: John comes to play on every possession. He improved greatly over the past couple of months and appeared to be more comfortable playing an American style of play.
What I like about John is he gets on the floor for loose balls, shows no ego, and does a great job in protecting the ball in the paint when he rebounds the basketball.
I rarely discuss 7-footers as players who wear a hard hat. But John is one you can put in that category. He does many things on the court to help his team win.
BRIAN TOWEY'S REVIEW OF JOHN RIEK SUAS: Riek has only been in the country since mid-January, but has shown enough promise that high majors are already interested. Riek is active defensively. He has the ability to reject and alter shots by opponents trying the paint area offensively. Riek has also showed the ability to catch, turn, and score at close range. He's pretty mobile for a seven-footer, and has a tremendous wingspan.
SCHOOLS SHOWING EARLY INTEREST: According to Eric Jaklitsch, John is open in his recruiting process. Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh, St. John's, DePaul, and Arizona have been mentioned previously as beng of interest.
