Report: CTK Big Man Chooses Manhattan

Reporter Mike Sullivan says a report in the Daily News confirms Andrew Gabriel's decision ...

Andrew Gabriel, a 6-foot-5, 220-pound inside forward for Christ The King High School in Middle Village, N.Y., committed to Manhattan, according to a report in the New York Daily News.

Gabriel had also listed interest at one time in his recruiting process in St. John's, Providence, and Duquesne.

Gabriel, a player who makes his living around the basket, has the ability to grab rebounds and score on putbacks.

Andrew has played in the recent Michael Jordan All American regional all star game held at Madison Square Garden. It was at this event he had stated he wanted to visit Providence and St. John's before he made a decision.

He had also stated he was offered by Manhattan at the time of the interview.
