Reporter Mike Sullivan has the story on D.J. Kennedy who is being recruited by two high major programs ...

D.J. Kennedy, a versatile 6-foot-6 athlete from the state of Pennsylvania, is close to making a decision in his recruiting process. Kennedy stated this evening that he is planning on making a decision by this weekend.

"Right now I am considering St. John's and Georgia and New Mexico State," said Kennedy.

Kennedy added: "I am not sure if I am going to visit New Mexico State."

D.J. said his official visits to Georgia and St. John's went well. "St. John's is near New York City and Georgia has Atlanta and the hot weather," Kennedy said.

But D.J. quickly claimed he won't have a school in mind until he sits down with his family and discusses both big name schools.

Kennedy, a lefty 6-foot-6 combination guard/forward, is an athletic player who has the ability to bring the ball up against pressure or share some minutes at the shooting guard slot or small forward position.
