PLAYER PROFILE: Kevin Parrom

HEIGHT: 6-foot-5

HIGH SCHOOL: St. Raymond's in the Bronx, New York

HIGH SCHOOL HEAD COACH: Oliver Antigua

BRIAN TOWEY'S VIEW ON KEVIN PARROM'S INDIVIDUAL GAME: Kevin has been impressive on the offensive end. Parrom has shown the ability to shoot it from a number of spots on the floor, connecting on a baseline turnaround, a turnaround from nine feet, and a 15-footer, and doing some damage in transition. He continues to impress with his face-up game in an increased role as a sophomore.

MIKE SULLIVAN'S VIEW ON KEVIN PARROM'S INDIVIDUAL GAME: Kevin Parrom has demonstrated he can provide a balanced offensive game. He doesn't panic under defensive pressure and shows the ability to be a player that can produce points from different spots on the floor. Only a sophomore, Kevin has two more full seasons to polish his individual game.

CONCLUSION: Kevin Parrom has two more full seasons to improve his individual game. As his consistency level becomes upgraded, it's likely the area schools will start recruiting him. Perhaps this summer Parrom will open more eyes with his play on the AAU circuit. Certainly, July is a big month for any 2009 prospect.
