Alberto Estwick may change his uniform a few times a year from his high school of St. Anthony's (Jersey City, New Jersey) to the Westchester Hawks AAU program to the Playaz Basketball Club jersy. But the game is the same -- solid overall.
Estwick, a 6-foot-4 guard from St. Anthony's High School in Jersey City, New Jersey, recently played for Jimmy Salmon's basketball program and continued to produce on both ends of the court. Estwick delivered 14 points in the victory, including two three pointers.
Salmon knows full well that Alberto can do several things on the court to help him win a basketball game. His Westchester Hawks head coach Rob Rizzo previously stated:
"He can cover guards and forwards. He does so many things great for us. He is under control too."
Estwick has given a commitment to Fordham, a place where Alberto can be an impact player and earn some playing time as a freshman next season.
For now, Alberto Estwick settles for helping the Playaz Senior team try to win a championship trophy in the highly competitive IS8 Fall League. And playing for a head coach like Bobby Hurley, Sr. has to help his overall improvement too.
