Upstate Big Man Sitting Out

Reporter Mike Sullivan has an update on a big man from upstate New York ...

Albany City Rocks program director Jim Hart said that his former AAU big man Jameson Keefe, a 7-foot-4 center from Troy High School in Troy, N.Y., is sitting out this semester. Keefe previously announced he was transferring from LaSalle.

Hart said previously that Keefe was going to Hudson Valley Community College. "He's sitting out right now," Hart said.

Hart was a key person in helping get Keefe some exposure. Keefe played several times for Hart's highly regarded AAU program -- the Albany City Rocks -- at several major events a year ago.

Jameson was an excellent student in high school too helping along interest from colleges in him as a student/athlete. He had a 90 average and over a 1300 on the SAT.
