Ameer Brown, a 6-foot-4, 195-pound shooting guard/wing forward from Blair Academy in Blairstown, New Jersey, is off to a solid start so far this season. He is averaging close to eight points and five rebounds a game.
Dartmouth, Brown, Penn, and Yale have been seriously pursuing Ameer while Holy Cross, Siena, and Iona are in contact with Brown and his family.
Previously, Brown and Boston University were mentioned. Brown is a current member of the 2009 class so he has another season after this year to continue improving his individual game.
Blair Academy travels tomorrow to play in an 18 and under tournament in Manchester, England. We will keep you posted on his progress overseas.
