PROJECTED POSITION IN COLLEGE: Shooting Guard

COLLEGE INTERESTS: Connecticut, Rutgers, St. John's, North Carolina, Michigan, Pittsburgh, Indiana, Marquette, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, and Seton Hall

STRENGTHS IN SHERROD WRIGHT'S INDIVIDUAL GAME: Sherrod has the ability to dominate in parts of games. He has a great first step to the basket and is fearless challenging the bigger bodies around the basket. Sherrod put up 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the NIKE Super Six at the Garden on Sunday against Paterson Catholic.

AREA TO IMPROVE IN SHERROD WRIGHT'S INDIVIDUAL GAME: Ballhandling. However, it is improving as indicated by his terrific performance this past Sunday.

EVALUATION: Head coach Bob Cimmino is a great teacher of the game who has a hands on approach with his basketball program. He loves Mount Vernon basketball and its shown each weekend his kids play at different events. Cimmino is always there for his players on and off the court. There aren't many better people in the business than Cimmino and players like Wright will benefit from his experience in the game of basketball.
