Posted Mar 14, 2008

Reporter Mike Sullivan has the story on Patrick Jackson ...

While the season was filled with his fair share of bumps and bruises, 6-foot-6 Boys & Girls High School swingman Patrick Jackson recently was named to the regional game of the Michael Jordan Classic. This three game event will be held at Madison Square Garden in New York City next month.

HEIGHT: 6-foot-6

WEIGHT: 220 Pounds

HIGH SCHOOL: Boys and Girls High School in Brooklyn, New York

POSITION: Small forward/Power Forward

CLASS: 2008, A current senior

STRENGTHS: Patrick came into the season looking to gain more consistency in his perimeter game. Some bumps and bruises made it difficult to make significant improvements but Jackson is a hard worker who gets his fair share of rebounds.

WEAKNESS: Moving his feet effectively when playing the opponent's small forward more

FRANK MANTESTA'S EVALUATION: Jackson has made solid strides in his overall game. Patrick is a 6-foot-6 shooter who can handle the ball. His inside game is also very good and he is an excellent rebounder. His defense will improve in college because he is agile and long.
