Darryl Bryant, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound guard from St. Raymond's High School in the Bronx, N.Y., has finished up his high school career for Oliver Antigua. But "Truck" will make another appearance at Madison Square Garden in April during the regional game of the Michael Jordan Classic.
Bryant, who will play next season for West Virginia in the Big East Conference, uses power and strength to score on smaller defenders. When his individual game is sizzling, he is able to score from anywhere on the court.
The 2008 prospect consistently (due to the rigid St. Raymond's schedule) was challenged by the top players locally and nationally. He had a job not only to score but to distribute the ball to several other talented players on the St. Raymond's squad.
Back by a strong frame and solid skills, Bryant was one of the better players in the New York City area. And he has another chance to show his skills at the world's most famous arena next month. This website will have complete coverage of the Michael Jordan Classic.
