Reporter Mike Sullivan has a story on Doron Lamb of Bishop Loughlin ... | |||

The Bishop Loughlin basketball program is in great shape with several players returning next season. The Lions will count on guard Doron Lamb, a 2010 prospect who gained a tremendous amount of confidence over the past year. Though Loughlin was eliminated from the CHSAA playoffs in the semifinals at St. John's University last week, Lamb made his case to be considered one of the best players for next season in the New York area. Doron demonstrated that his individual game is special, scoring 14 points, four baskets coming from the perimeter. Lamb is being recruited by St. John's, Syracuse, Florida, Louisville, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Xavier, Georgia Tech, and Connecticut. "I'm open," Lamb said. "I'm just trying to make myself better defensively and be more consistent with my jumper." It's likely that if Lamb has a great summer of AAU ball, he'll have a boatload of scholarship offers on the table before his junior season begins. |
