COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES OF INTEREST: Ameer recently took an unofficial visit to Yale, according to Brown's family.
Ameer's family stated that they had a great time on the visit and like coach Jones and what he has to offer.
Brown has also taken several other visits, including a recent one to Brown University. Ameer's family said the trip went well and they were impressed also with the campus and the coaching staff.
Pennsylvania, Princeton, Dartmouth, Siena, Holy Cross, Columbia, and Northeastern are also seriously being considered.
AAU TEAM: Westchester Hawks
PREVIOUS EVALUATION: Brown is a hard working guard who has improved his game over the past year at Blair Academy. He is a solid defender who can score when given an opportunity. He has two years to continue his improvement in his individual game.
And Brown is about to undergo one on one training in the month of March to prepare himself for the spring and summer AAU season. The Westchester Hawks are a new team for Ameer but Tom Jennings' AAU program is highly regarded and very successful in producing division one players.
