OSNA Senior Guard Has A Plan Of Action

May Decision?

Reporter Mike Sullivan has a story on OSNA senior guard Gerardo Suero ...

Gerardo Suero, a 6-foot-3 1/2, 186-pound guard from Our Savior New American in Centereach, New York, is currently focusing on qualifying academically, according to OSNA assistant coach Eric Jaklitsch.

Suero, who hails from the Dominican Republic, is likely to get some sort of feel on where he stands by the middle of May, according to sources.

Gerardo is a solid offensive scoring guard. He has the ability to float shots over bigger bodies inside the paint. He averaged close to 31 points a game this past season for the Pioneers.

"Pittsburgh, St. John's, Fairfield, Rhode Island, Virginia Tech, and DePaul are some of the schools interested," Jaklitsch said.

So it's likely a decision won't be made until the Pioneers coaching staff has a true read on Suero's academic situation. We'll keep you posted here on this website if something changes.
