Daye Kaba, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound combo guard and sophomore who received his release from Boston College and will transfer, has several schools interested in him, according to Eric Jaklitsch, one of his former AAU and high school coaches.
Kaba, a native of Ermont, France, now has interest from Fordham, Quinnipiac, Robert Morris, Fairfield, and Loyola of Maryland.
Kaba played his prep ball for coach Ron Stelzer at Our Savior New American in Centereach N.Y., after arriving in the United States in August of 2004.
Kaba competed for New York Elite on the AAU circuit, coached by Chris Phillips and Jaklitsch.
