Daye Kaba, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound combo guard, is getting ready to being his trasfer process. Kaba is a sophomore backcourt player with a reputation out of high school as a terrific defender.
He recently received his release from Boston College of the ACC. Kaba will take a visit to Loyola of Maryland this upcoming weekend, according to Eric Jaklitsch, one of his former AAU and high school coaches.
Kaba, a native of Ermont, France, also has interest from Fordham, Quinnipiac, Robert Morris, and Fairfield.
Kaba played his prep ball for head coach Ron Stelzer at Our Savior New American in Centereach N.Y. (Long Island), after arriving in the United States in 2004.
Kaba competed for New York Elite on the AAU circuit, coached by Chris Phillips and Jaklitsch.
