St. Anthony's High School head coach Bobby Hurley, Sr. told us last night that Tyshawn Taylor, a 6-foot-2 guard, officially received his release yesterday and is looking forward to making another college decision. With the departure of head coach Tom Crean from Marquette to Indiana, Taylor's wanted out of his letter of intent. "It's time now for him to sit down and discuss possible visits," Hurley said. The legendary bench leader of the Jersey City, New Jersey based school said three schools are being considered for a possible official visit. "Texas, Florida and Kansas are the schools he might take a trip to," Hurley said. "Right now, he would have to choose two of the three schools." Hurley said a decision on the visits should come soon. "I expect to talk to some of the coaches today," he said. Hurley also said Georgia Tech, Virginia, and Virginia Tech are on Taylor's short list. Tyshawn has already taken an official visit to Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech. "It's going to be a tough decision again," Hurley said. "But he can't lose with these schools involved. They're all great schools."
