Tyshawn Taylor, a 6-foot-2 guard, is expected to take a visit to Kansas this Wednesday, according to sources close to the senior guard from St. Anthony's High School in Jersey City, New Jersey. Taylor is also considering Marquette, Florida, and Georgia Tech. Due to the departure of head coach Tom Crean from Marquette to Indiana, Taylor asked out and received his release. St. Anthony's head coach Bobby Hurley Sr also said that Virginia, Texas, Virginia Tech were other schools on his list. Tyshawn has already taken official visits to Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech. "Tyshawn is a player that can help a team in several ways," Hurley, Sr. said. "He works very hard on both sides of the ball and does a good job stopping dribble penetration into the lane."
