Reporter Mike Sullivan has a story on Tyshawn Taylor ...

Tyshawn Taylor, a 6-foot-2 guard from St. Anthony's High School in Jersey City, New Jersey, committed to Kansas, according to head coach Bobby Hurley, Sr.

"Kansas got a player whose best basketball is ahead of him," Hurley said.

Taylor also considered Virginia Tech, Texas, Virginia, Marquette, Georgia Tech, and Florida.

Tyshawn had already taken official visits to Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech before visiting Kansas. "Tyshawn is a great athlete who does a lot of things well on the court," Hurley, Sr. said.
