Ryan Allen, a 6-foot-3 wing player from Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg, Mass., is still available and open.
"He's amongst the best of the guys that are still out there," said Notre Dame Prep coach Ryan Hurd of the fifth-year player from Chicago. "He's definitely amongst the most athletic.
"He's a freak athlete. He attacks the rim and dunks on people at will. He makes people miserable defensively because he beats you to spots with his quickness."
Allen is the younger brother of Boston Celtics guard Tony Allen.
TCU recently made contact with Hurd about Allen. He does not have any offers at the moment.
"I can't imagine being a mid-major school and not offering him," said Hurd.
The coach believes that Allen will predict academically.
"We're confident that he'll be cleared to play," said Hurd.
