Will Regan, a sophomore at Nichols high school in Buffalo, N.Y., received an offer from Maryland. He had recently made an unofficial visit.

The 6-foot-8 post player has been getting a lot of attention. He is a very smart player with a high basketball IQ. One of his strongest attributes is his footwork in the post. Will also possesses nice jump hooks with either hand. Regan, who plays with highly regarded Albany City Rocks AAU program, has been getting a lot of attention since he was a freshmen. His game continues to improve and college coaches have been following him.

His impressive list of schools includes Fordham, Kentucky, Virginia Tech, Boston College, Buffalo, Kansas State, Georgia Tech, Virginia, Notre Dame, Stanford, Arizona State, Ohio State, Stanford, West Virginia, St John’s, Michigan, Tennessee.

Regan will take an unofficial visit next to Georgetown of the Big East Conference.

Will is still early in his decision making proces but Maryland offer was a big step for Regan.
