Former St. Mary's Star Still Open

Rashad Green, a 6-foot-4, 195-pound freshman guard at Manhattan College is still looking for a school to transfer to, according to his former AAU coach with the New York Panthers, Gary Charles.

"Rashad is still open in his process," said Charles. "He took a visit to San Francisco. He had some interest from Rhode Island, New Mexico State, Kent State, and Iona. But he's still open and still looking for the right fit."

Green, a native of North Babylon, N.Y. who previously played at St. Mary's High School in Manhasset, New York, averaged eight points and five rebounds in just over 21 minutes per game as a freshman.

Green also did a post-graduate stint at Bridgton Academy (Maine) two seasons ago.
