Former Panthers' Star Is Open

Will Harris

Reporter Mike Sullivan has the story on Will Harris and his situation ...

Will Harris has played many games in the New York area. And when you watched him play the thought process was he can create mismatch problems for some college program. But on what level?

After attending Virginia for the past few years, Harris has decided to transfer. Albany, Marist, New Hampshire, and Northeastern are the early schools on his list.

Harris played the last two seasons for the ACC program but rarely saw any important minutes. At 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds, he possesses a solid frame.

His former coach, Jason Smith, at Brewster Academy, was quoted in the Virginia newspapers as saying that Harris loved his stay in Charlottesville.

But Harris needs to play. And he can compete. The current schools being mentioned would be a great opportunity for Will to be an impact player. Recommended Stories
