Barry Posey, a 6-foot-5, 182-pound combo forward from Transit Tech (Brooklyn, New York), is a player that has been evaluated by several reporters on this website.
He is a 2010 prospect (rising junior) who impressed reporter Frank Mantesta during the high school season. Then Posey showed he was worth watching after viewing his skills at the Joe Brown Memorial tournament held on the campus of FDU during the month of July.
EVALUATION: Posey showed the ability near the rim consistently. He also did it against some tough competition. He competed for the 16 and under United Brooklyn team.

AREA TO IMPROVE: While his skills are improving, like most young players, his game needs some polishing over the next couple of seasons.
COLLEGE INTERESTS: It's early but he's going to get low to mid level looks if his play continues to progress.
