Kameron Ritter, a 6-foot-3 backcourt player from Christian Brothers Academy in Albany, N.Y., is being heavily counted on by his high school as being able to run the offense and provide some firepower as a junior.
The 2010 prospect had a solid summer for Jim Hart's 16 and under Albany City Rocks AAU program.
"He does a good job settling down the team and moving the ball up against the press," said Hart.
Defensively, Ritter is a positive part of the Rocks' success too. He has long arms, giving him ample chances of making steals.
"It's not even close on our team," said Hart, referring to the statistics in the area of steals. "Kameron is more than two to one to the next person in steals."
Hart said Ritter is open in his recruiting process but has had several schools showing early interest in his skill level. Among the schools Hart has mentioned: William and Mary, Ball State, Delaware, George Mason, American and Holy Cross.
