OSNA Forward Has SEC School Visit

Steele Davis

Reporter Mike Sullivan has an update regarding the early high division one interest in Our Savior New American forward Steele Davis who recently enrolled into the Centereach, New York school ...

Steele Davis, a 6-foot-8, 215-pound forward from Our Savior New American High School in Centereach, New York, had an SEC school take in a practice today at the Pioneers' school.

"Florida has a coach here tonight," said Our Savior New American assistant coach Eric Jaklitsch. "But he has many other schools that are interested in him."

According to Jaklitsch, Davis is from Louisiana and is just trying to get himself comfortable with the surroundings on Long Island. It's likely the sophomore will have many visitors over the next couple years at OSNA.

"Kentucky, USC, Georgia, Virginia Tech, Georgetown, Memphis, DePaul...there are many others that I can't remember," said Jaklitsch. "He's open."

Jaklitsch said Davis doesn't have a favorite right now. "He's just getting used to his teammates."
