Jordan Henriquez, the 6-foot-10 center from The Winchendon School in Massachusetts, is excited about playing college basketball next season for Kansas State, according to his proud mom, Lisa.
Jordan's mom said she speaks regularly to her son. "He's part of the NCAA video game for next season," she said with a smile.
Henriquez has always shown the ability to affect a game with his long arms and shot blocking skills. He usually strung up five plus blocks while playing last year at Port Chester High School in New York.
"He's also gaining weight," said Lisa.
This is a good sign. It will allow Jordan to handle the physical challenges on the next level playing in a major conference.
As he gains strength, his consistency will become more apparent too. So stints in the weight room will be vital to his future success.
Jordan has had some double/doubles too this season. His confidence on the offensive side of the ball has improved as well.

He has the wing span to change player's drives to the basket too. Increasing his endurance will be another aspect worked on this season.
