Reporter Mike Sullivan discusses the individual game of Josh Elbaum and his future as a basketball player/student...Elbaum has been a favorite player of ours to watch over the past couple of years ...

Josh Elbaum, a 6-foot-3 multi-versatile guard from St. John The Baptist High School in West Islip, New York (Long Island), is a player we grew to respect over the past couple of years.

Elbaum has shown the ability to help his team in many ways. He has nice size for a lead guard and has impressed the reporters on this website many times with his ability to distribute, score, defend, and rebound.

FUTURE SCHOOL:

Northfield Mount Hermon (for a postgraduate year)

BRIAN TOWEY'S EVALUATION OF JOSH ELBAUM'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

A pass-first point guard with good size for his position, Elbaum has strong vision and defends well on the ball. It's also possible that he's not done growing.
