Nolan Hart, a 5-foot-10 guard from The Albany Academy in Albany, New York, is a 2010 prospect that hopes to gain some significant playing time by the end of July. "We only have about 10 players with us at the Nationals (AAU tournament held at Disney World in Orlando, Florida)," said Albany City Rocks head coach, Jim Hart.
Yes, Jim is Nolan's dad. But he's been cautious about overstepping himself in putting his son's name out there. It's likely that Nolan will receive some low division one interest. But it remains up in the air what level he belongs.
From what we can see of Nolan's individual game, he has the ability to knock down the open jumper. Areas that need to be worked on are taking his shot with his handle and lateral movement.
We had an opportunity to watch a couple of his games in the Rumble in the Bronx held on the campus of Fordham in the middle of June.
Nolan is working hard on getting stronger and quicker, two physical aspects that need to be improved over the next year for the rising senior.
He competed at the Columbia Elite camp too.

Considered a terrific student too, Nolan is hearing from several Ivy League basketball programs. Among the schools showing serious interest -- Dartmouth, Harvard, Columbia, and Pennsylvania.
