PLAYER PROFILE: Zach Taylor

HEIGHT: 5-foot-10

WEIGHT: 157 Pounds

CLASS: A current junior, class of 2011. Taylor has reclassified to give himself a better opportunity down the road to land some scholarship offers.

POSITION: Point Guard

FORMER HIGH SCHOOL: St. Luke's School in Connecticut

FORMER HIGH SCHOOL HEAD COACH: Kevin Anthony

PREP SCHOOL: St. Thomas More in Oakdale, Connecticut

PREP SCHOOL HEAD COACH: Jere Quinn. The head coach is considered one of the best in teaching the game of basketball to youngsters. He's a no-nonsense coach who demands his players compete on every possession.

Taylor has been fortunate to spend time currently with Quinn but also at St. Lukes and with their coaching staff too.

AAU TEAM: Connecticut Basketball Club, among the best AAU programs.

AAU HEAD COACH: J.R. Hargraves, another terrific head coach.

PREVIOUS SCHOOLS OF INTEREST: Fairfield, Stony Brook, Siena, Hofstra, Rider, Sacred Heart, Massachusetts, Seton Hall, Rutgers, and St. John's.
