Nolan Hart, a 5-foot-10 guard from The Albany Academy in Albany, New York, produced several clutch points to help his team win Catholic Central High School Holiday Hoop tournament. Hart scored 12 points, nine of the team's last points.
For his effort, Hart, a 2010 senior prospect, was named the MVP. He scored 30 points in the two games of the event.
Nolan scored six three-pointers during the two-day tournament. Hart has shown he can bury open three-pointers.
PREVIOUS EVALUATION: From what we saw of the few times we watched him play live, Nolan has the ability to knock down the open jumper. Areas that need to be worked on are taking his shot with his handle and lateral movement, taking the ball to the rim to rid defenders who are likely to shadow him along the three-point line.
We previously watched Hart play some games in the Rumble in the Bronx held on the campus of Fordham last summer.
There are Ivy League schools watching his progress.
Nolan is also a candidate to walk on.
He has also competed at the Columbia Elite camp too.

A tough competitor who can hit the deep ball, he led the Albany area with three-pointers made on 50 percent shooting.
Considered a terrific student too, Nolan is hearing from several Ivy League basketball programs. Among the schools showing serious interest -- Dartmouth, Harvard, Columbia, and Pennsylvania.
