Jabarie Hinds, a 5-foot-11, 150-pound guard prospect from Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon, New York, continues to have a tremendous season for one of the country's traditionally talented basketball programs.

Hinds is averaging close to 24 points and four assists per contest for Mount Vernon, a program that always competes with the top talent on the East Coast.

Jabarie, who said he is working hard on improving all aspects of his game, is being recruited at a high division one level to play college basketball.

But, for now, Hinds said he is concentrating on helping his team win basketball games in an attempt to win a state championship in the month of March.

Several schools have already showed interest in the junior prospect. Among them: Wake Forest, Oklahoma, Louisville, St. Francis, James Madison, St. John's, Seton Hall, South Carolina, UNLV, and Virginia.
