Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a look at the individual game of Michael Alvarado, a New York guard who will play division one college basketball next season ...

Mike Alvarado, a 6-foot backcourt prospect from All Hallows High School in the Bronx, New York, was recently invited to play in the New York regional All Star game of the Jordan Brand event, slated to be played on April 17th at Madison Square Garden.

Alvarado, who signed his letter of intent with Manhattan College, is a senior guard prospect and should be a solid impact player for the Manhattan basketball program.

EVALUATION OF MICHAEL ALVARADO'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

His play has always improved year over year. Michael possesses a nice feel for the game, does a good job with making decisions with the basketball, and can help his team win a game in many ways.

Alvardo plays hard on both sides of the ball too. He should be able to help the Manhattan basketball program as a freshman too as he played for a high school program that demands hard play both defensively and offensively.
