Canty, who plays for the Long Island Lightning AAU team based out of West Hempstead, New York, is a prospect whose stock is on the rise. And several division one programs are showing serious interest now in his skill level.
"The schools I'm interested in are Massachusetts, Providence, Arizona, Iowa state, Marist, Seton Hall and VCU," he said.
Canty plans on working on all parts of his individual game when he competes in several AAU events and tournaments with the Lightning.
"My next tournament is the Miami Team Breakdown tournament," he said.
