HOW THE SEASON PROGRESSED FOR MIKE BUFFALO: Mike produced 23 points for his team in a victory over the New York Panthers in the IS8 Spring League held last month.

*Buffalo averaged nearly 11 points a game, five rebounds and three assists this season for South Kent this past season.

COLLEGE INTEREST:

Mike competed in several major events, polishing his individual game for the next level. He was making progress in his ballhandling and his perimeter shooting, trying to improve his backcourt skills.

He played in AAU events held in South Carolina, Georgia, and Las Vegas.

When he came back home, he had several options, including returning to prep school or taking a shot at playing JUCO ball.

"I've decided to play JUCO ball at New Mexico Military Institute," he said. "I'm looking forward to the experience."

Previously, we reported he had interest in FDU, St. Peter's, Elon, Monmouth, Arkansas Little Rock, Florida Atlantic, and LIU.

STRENGTHS: Is a strong guard, tough mentally, physically able to challenge the bigger bodies near the rim with his drives to the basket.
