PLAYER PROFILE: Taran Buie HEIGHT: 6-foot-2 WEIGHT: 170 Pounds HIGH SCHOOL: Bishop Maginn High School in Albany, New York AAU PROGRAM: Albany City Rocks in Albany, New York ALBANY CITY ROCKS PROGRAM DIRECTOR: Jim Hart CLASS: 2010 (Finishing up his freshman year JIM HART ON TARON BUIE'S INDIVIDUAL GAME: "He is very athletic. He has the ability to explode to the basket. He's going to be a high division one player on the college level. It's just a matter of time before the division one schools start recruiting him seriously. It's early though as he's just a freshman. But he is definitely worth watching over the next couple of season. I am pretty excited about his skills too." EARLY SCHOOLS OF INTEREST FOR TARON BUIE: Albany City Rocks program director Jim Hart has said it is early in Buie's recruiting process. But at recent events, Taran has been impressive. So it's likely some schools will watch him this summer. Previously, Hart listed Fordham, Providence, Syracuse, and Xavier of Ohio. We caution that this is a preliminary list.
