Josh Elbaum, a 6-foot-4, 185-pound backcourt player from St. John The Baptist High School in West Islip, New York, has a new recruiting list, according to St. John The Baptist assistant coach Jim Plate.
"Josh has interest from several division one programs," Plate said. "Davidson, Siena, East Carolina, Navy, Yale, Cornell with assistant coach Andrew Francis of Siena being the most aggressive right now."
Elbaum is still open in his recruiting process and is a member of the 2009 class, a current junior at St. John The Baptist High School.
Plate pointed out that Elbaum has really improved the game with the help of the highly regarded teaching skills of Jerry Powell. "He has done a great job with all of our players," Plate gloated about Powell and his coaching skills.
Plate previously mentioned Niagara also as a school of interest to Elbaum. Plate previously told us that Elbaum is highly successful in the classroom too opening up more avenues for Josh to be recruited.
